The tourism industry is a strategic one creating the highest added value in national economics. It contributes to the improvement of national culture and raises people's living standards. Recently, due to the development of air transportation, the number of domestic and international tourists are rapidly increasing. Incheon International Airport will be the hub of the East-Asian airports in the 21st century. The department at this college, located near the Incheon International Airport, trains students to become flight attendants, airline ground staff, or professional employees who can support the tourism industry.
The students are taught the theoretical and practical knowledge necessary for working in the tourism industry. They are taught appropriate manners, foreign languages, Korean history, general world history, tour culture, and customs. By acquiring the license of a tour guide, tour interpreter, and the tourist agent, the students are educated to become competent future employees of the tourism industry.
