The aim of interior architectural design is to make all areas of human activity such as housing, commercial, public, and memorial spaces more practical, beautiful, and efficient.  In short, the goal is to create a more pleasant living environment.  To do this, interior architect must be able to plan, design, and build with excellent skill.  The department trains students to do this but also offers theory and practical experience in the following subjects: decoration design, interior design, and building structure.  Students are trained to become professional technicians with knowledge and practice in the following areas: interior design, furniture design, coordination design, lighting design, computer aided design, display, ergonomics, and architectural drafting.  This department also prepares students for the Interior Architect Certificate examination.
