| Industrial design is the science that fuses art, design, and science into one and satisfies many human needs in our information industry. The department trains students to be highly skilled designers whom this rapidly developing intellectual age needs. These goals are reached under distinct educational guidelines and curriculum in which the rationality of the scientific technology is harmonized with artistic sense. The major field is subdivided into 'the three dimensional course' centering on the product design, space design and 'the plane course' centering on the fabric design and visual information design. Using this method the students can choose their own major.
The department provides a practical business-centered curriculum that meets the needs of the industrial field through industrial-educational cooperation. It also graft the computer-aided design and software practice into the actual project, and intensifies the education for grafting digital media. Through these curriculum, we bring up designers who are capable of interpreting and synthesizing design actively.
