In recent years, this field had become increasingly popular with women who desire to be more socially active. The Department of Child Edu-Care at SSC is primarily concerned with establishing professionals who will be able to take on the demands of a career in early childhood education and care giving. The department tries to cultivate prospective care givers, teachers, and professionals that have a sound grounding not only in practical skills, but theory and psychology as well. The integration of these is necessary in order to meet the demands of the ever and rapidly changing home, society, and global community.
